The days are getting shorter and the nights longer. Staying inside where it's warm and cozy is what this time of the year calls for.
While relaxing with a cup of coffee or tea or maybe a warm cup of apple cider, have you ever thought about the animals that are at the local shelter?
Let me tell you what they are experiencing. They are in individual cubicals that keep them seperated and safe from each other. These cubicals are made of steel, concrete and cold. Although they have food and water and a safe place for the night, they have no human companionship-no one to pat their heads...no one to assure them that they are a part of a family-even if it's temporary.
