Teens are invited to MacDonald Library for a fun craft, making a Steampunk journal. Described as "vintage meets gadget," the library will supply journals and supplies to get teens started. And teens are encouraged to bring their own items to use to personalize their creations. Suggestions include: sewing needle/embroidery thread, scraps of leather, cloth or lace, hardware (nuts, bolts, cogs, gears, or images of), old newspaper clippings, old maps or sheet music, ribbons, buttons, or whatever else you can think of: but be sure to aim for that "vintage meets gadget" vibe.
