Parents are invited to attend a special presentation at Anchor Bay Middle School South, titled Literacy in the 21st Century: An Evening with Dr. Mary Bigler.
Dr. Bigler is an internationally known speaker and literacy expert. She will help parents understand the vital role literacy plays in student achievement. Dr. Bigler, a professor in the Department of Teacher Education at Eastern Michigan University, will explain how parents and other adults can help children develop critical thinking skills, plus share ways to boost student success in the classroom and beyond.
The lecture will be held at the school auditorium. Please note, this is for adults only.
