In Video: Anchor Bay Triathlon By Land, Water in New Baltimore
On Saturday, 260 participants, both individuals and team members, competed in the 2011 Anchor Bay Triathlon in downtown New Baltimore.
At 7 a.m. Saturday, 260 participants took the plunge into Lake St. Clair to mark the start of the annual . After completing the half-mile swim, athletes biked for 11 miles and ran for three more as they tested their abilities and endurance on the hot July day.
The event, sponsored by the , went on to cap off another triumphant year with the help of many local sponsors, volunteers and support from the community.
