Local Contractor Seeks Deserving Homeowner for Free Roof Program

July 7, 2014 – Shelby Township, MI.  Local excitement for Ridgecon Construction’s Macomb and Oakland County No Roof Left Behind free roof give-away program is building.

Members of the public have submitted just a dozen stories of friends, family members and neighbors in need of a new roof online at www.ridgecon.com.

“This is our sixth year giving away roofs in the area,” said Jay Elie. “Typically we see more nominations than this.  So we are asking the community to give us a hand.  If you know a good person or family that could use a new roof, then take a moment to nominate them today.”

Nominations are being accepted now.  Then nominees will be narrowed to four finalists. Finalists’ stories and photos will be displayed on Ridgecon’s No Roof Left Behind homepage.  From August 18 to September 15, 2014 members of the public will able to vote for the finalist they feel is most deserving.  The winner will be revealed online on September 22, 2014.

Nominations are still being accepted through August 4, 2014. To nominate visit: www.ridgecon.com and click on the No Roof Left Behind link.  Nominees must own the home they are living in and be a resident of either Macomb or Oakland County.  Also, the free roof recipient must be current on his/her mortgage payments.  A team of local volunteers will review all the nominees and four will be selected as finalists.
