Fresh flowers, herbs, scrumptious treats and music kicked off opening day of the Sunday in downtown New Baltimore.

Grey skies threatened the anticipated opening, but then clouds parted and the sun shined down on an assortment of goods.

"I'm glad that the sun came out," New Baltimore Farmers' Market Manager Cynthia Paparelli said. "We're doing really good."

The market had 18 vendors Sunday, but expects more throughout the season.
