Support Local Teen Raise Funds for Cancer Awareness and The Rainbow Connection

The community is invited to support Chesterfield teen, Josh Oleksiak, at the Third Annual Fight the Beast Bowling Fundraiser. The 2015 Rainbow Connection Wish Ambassador hosts the cancer awareness benefit fundraiser on Jan. 29 at Premier Lanes in Chesterfield.

“The Rainbow Connection has helped me in my time of need and now it’s time to help give back to a child who needs a smile just like I did,” said Oleksiak. “Fight the Beast is a great way to have a fun night out, give back to Rainbow Connection and also raise awareness for Melanoma.”

Tickets are $25 per bowler and include three games, pizza, beverage and an event t-shirt. There is a $5 donation at the door for non-bowlers who want to participate in the event.

Fight the Beast will feature live music by The Gobies and DJ Sam Micciche, 50/50 raffles, a silent auction and much more.

Funds raised at the Fight the Beast Bowling Fundraiser will help make dreams come true for Michigan childen with life threatening illnesses and also be used to offset medical costs as Oleksiak continues to battle Melanoma.
“We hope to raise enough to sponsor one wish at Rainbow Connection,” said Oleksiak. “That is a $5,000 sponsorship so we really need the community to come out and participate.”

Doors open for the Fight the Beast Fundraiser at 7pm with bowling beginning at 8pm. Premier Lanes is located at 33151 23 Mile Road in Chesterfield, MI.
