Whiz Kid: Danielle Miller

Anchor Bay High School junior helps promote good decisions among her peers.

Whiz Kid: Danielle Miller

Age: 16

Accomplishments: The junior is an all A/B student and is an active participant in the school’s Students Against Destructive Decisions (S.A.D.D.) program.

Miller is committed to spreading the word to her peers about the consequences of destructive behaviors that include alcohol use, druken driving, drugs abuse and other harmful actions. Members promote the club by making posters for the school and encouraging others to join them.

In addition, Miller was a member of the Tars junior varsity softball team for two years and plans on running track this spring.

She speaks fluent Polish and works at the American Polish Cultural Center in Troy.

Miller plans on attending college after graduation to study in the medical field.

Key to Success:  Miller believes her key to success is based on her drive to be independent and successful in her college career and beyond.
