Key to Success: "Hannah is a self-motivated, confident reader and writer," Ashley Elementary School teacher Kevin Grammens said. "She has read over 50 texts this year alone."

"It is a real pleasure to have Hannah in class," Ashley Elementary School teacher Jennifer Allen said. "She is an excellent role model and is doing very well academically. I can always count on her to be consistently prepared and helpful. It has been a joy to see her grow in fourth grade."

Hannah's award-winning poem:

My Friend

I have a best friend

Her name is Belle

She runs like the wind

But doesn’t dress very well

She’s brown and she’s dirty

She has long hair that blows

Her one eye is blue

That sparkles and glows

The one thing you should know

Belle is no phony

She is my best friend of all

And she is my pony
