Northville High School FIRST Robotics Team 548 Win the Northville FIRST Robotics Competition

The Northville High School FIRST Robotics Team 548, The Robostangs, in an alliance with Team 67, Heroes of Tomorrow (HOT) from Milford High School, and Team 3656, The Dreadbots from Dexter High School,  won the  Northville FIRST Robotics Competition this past weekend.  The alliance won the  final Rebound Rumble match with a record high score of 113-9  which concluded with  all three robots balanced on the bridge.  FIRST stands for “For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology”. The Robostangs also won the prestigious Chairman's Award; this award is presented to the team that demonstrates the greatest commitment to spreading passion about science and technology into their communities and schools.  This victory qualifies the Robostangs to compete in the Michigan State FRC Championship at Eastern Michigan University on April 12 – 14th.  Robostangs compete this weekend at the Troy Robotics Competition.
