Are You Registered to Vote, Northville? Deadline is Oct. 9

With the voter registration deadline approaching, we've put together information needed for Northville residents to cast their ballots.

Oct. 9 is the deadline for voter registration for the Nov. election. Here's the information needed for Northville residents to register to vote, whether in person or by absentee ballot.

Where and how do I register?

You can register in person at the clerks offices in Northville Township and the city of Northville or by mail. Applications are available online at www.Michigan.gov/sos.

  • Township residents: The township clerk's office is located on the second floor of the township hall at Six Mile and Sheldon roads. Northville Township residents can also mail in voter registration applications to the township clerk at 44405 Six Mile Rd., Northville, MI 48168.
  • City residents: The city of Northville clerk's office is located downtown at Wing and Main streets. City residents can mail in applications to 215 W. Main Street, Northville, MI 48167 or by fax to 248-349-9244.

Voters who are 18 or older, or who will be 18 by the Nov. 6 election, are eligible to register to vote.

Michigan Law requires that the same address be used for your voter registration and driver’s license. Check your registration status and see your polling location, which has potentially changed since the 2008 presidential election, by contacting their city or township clerk or at www.michigan.gov/vote.
