Autumn Color Perfection

I am bored with my hair and I am ready for a change, what are the hair color trends for this Fall?

I love this question because I too am thinking it’s time for a bit of a change, the summer is over and I really need a pick me up! So I reached out to Pam Free of Freestyle Salon and got her expert perspective. Fall is a great time to change up your color according to Pam.  She suggests:

For Blondes: Adding lowlights to highlighted & sun stressed locks is a great way to add depth and freshen your look. These season both golden and ash lowlights are HOT.  Remember to always work with your stylist to find the tone is most flattering to your skin tone and eye color.

For Brunettes: Deep, Rich & Sexy is the way to go Mocha or Chocolate think warmth! This can be created with an all-over Demi color, High & Low Lights or by Color Blocking techniques. Discuss with your stylist which technique is right for you.

Redheads: Reds of all shades are in, from auburn with golden highlights to Brown with Violet Red panels. The most important aspect of going red is maintaining the shine and preventing the hair color from fading so make sure and stock up on the color maintaining shampoo and conditioner.
