Preview of the 30th annual NABF Junior Division World Series
The National Amateur Baseball Federation (NABF) Junior Division World Series returns to Northville July 27-31.
The 2011 tournament marks the 30th consecutive year Northville has hosted the prestigious event. Teams comprised of 15- and 16-year-olds travel to Northville from regional sites all around the United States to compete for the title of World Series Champion.
The format and number of participating teams has evolved over the years; the event has expanded for 2011 and will be the biggest ever with 15 teams participating. Northville earns an automatic bid as the host team. It is a tremendous experience for our local team to compete against some of the best competition in the country.
