Wayne County Parks hosts the 18th Annual Fishing Derby at Waterford Bend Park in Northville on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 8 a.m. Fisherman of all shapes and sizes reel in more than 800 rainbow trout!

Northville – Picture this: fisherman of all shapes and sizes reeling in more than 800 rainbow trout at Waterford Bend Park in Northville on Saturday, May 18, 2013 starting at 8:00 a.m. for the 18th Annual Wayne County Parks Fishing Derby.
A fishing license is not required for this event but participants must bring their own equipment. The co-sponsors are the Vietnam Veterans of America Plymouth/Canton Chapter 528 and Northville Parks & Recreation Department.

Schedule of Activities
7:30 a.m. – 8:00 a.m.: Registration on site
8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.: Fishing derby for children age 12 and younger

10:30 a.m.: Presentation of prizes to children
10:00 a.m. – Noon: Fishing for all ages
Waterford Bend Park is located at the corner of Six Mile and Northville Roads in Northville.
