City Police Looking for Man Spotted Peeking in Windows

The City of Northville Police Department is looking for a man who was spotted peeking into the rear windows of a home around Eight Mile and Beck roads this afternoon.

He ran from the house when he was spotted by residents inside, according to Capt. Michael Carlson.

At around 11 a.m., the man – described as 5'10'', 160 lbs. with "longer shoulder length brown unkempt hair" – was spotted looking into the windows of a house after one resident had left. He did not appear to have a weapon, Carlson said.

"He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a blue shirt and an old baseball cap. Subject may be carrying a radio," according to a community Nixle alert.

The man was last spotted running toward Eight Mile from Beck. Carlson said that there have been no other similar incidents reported in the area.
