Thief allegedly steals GPS, leaves behind a purse
A GPS unit was reportedly stolen from a car parked on Northville Place Drive on Jan. 25. Sometime between 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. someone broke into the car. Police found a tan purse in the back seat, according to police reports. The woman who owned the car said it wasn't hers and did not know to whom it belonged.
"It is presumed to have been left by the suspect," according to the police report.
The bag was completely empty.

Car break-in
On Jan. 24, a woman reported that her car had been broken into on Northville Place Drive. The woman said that her boyfriend left for work that morning and saw the trunk of her car open, according to township police reports.
When the woman went down to check her car, she found that her laptop and stuffed animals were missing from the trunk. She also found the contents of her glove compartment tampered with but nothing was stolen, according to the police report.
