Plymouth man arrested for alleged theft
A 19-year-old Plymouth man was arrested by Police on March 2 after allegedly trying to steal liquor from Meijer. The man was reportedly seen around 8 p.m. by store security putting liquor and fruit punch, valued at $14.26, into his coat before leaving the store without paying.
The man posted a $200 bond for his retail fraud arrest and was released with a court date in March in the 35th District Court.
Wallet reported stolen at Meijer
A Northville Township woman reported that during the course of her shopping at , that someone had stolen her wallet from her purse. She said it was in the child seat of the cart. She told police it contained some cash and credit cards.

Minivan broken into
Sometime overnight on March 1, a minivan on the 17000 block of East Northville Trail was reportedly broken into, according to police reports.
According to reports: Someone allegedly ripped out the woman's ingition switch and damaged the dash and steering column. The plastic dash from underneath the steering column was found on the floor. There were several broken wires cut and the car would not start.

Drunken Man Drives Onto a Family's Lawn
According to township police reports, a man was found passed out behind the wheel of his SUV while stuck in a snow bank on a Northville family's lawn.
Officers knocked on the man's window and he woke up. The officer noticed the SUV was in third gear and still running. The 21-year-old Hillsdale, MI man reportedly drove up the family's driveway, made a left onto the lawn and got stuck.
He reportedly told police "he was fine and must have dozed off." The officer said in his report that he could smell alcohol coming from the car. The officer asked the driver if he knew where he was. He told the officer he was in Hillsdale. The officer informed him he was on a house's lawn in Northville.
When the officer asked where he was coming from, he seemed confused with allegedly slurred speech, but said he was attending a concert "somewhere in Detroit."
He told officers that he was waiting for his friends to come to the vehicle from the concert and that he had no intention of driving. He reportedly told the officer he was just warming up the SUV.
According to the report, the officer told him "he was not in a parking lot but parked on somebody's lawn." When asked how much he drank, he told said he had half of a drink.
The officer asked him to step outside the vehicle for a sobriety test but the man had no shoes on and could not locate them. On the driveway, the officer was able to perform a series of sobriety tests, including a heel-to-heel walk on a line, which the man could not complete. He was also asked to recite the alphabet but attempted to do so backwards even after being asked to say it forward, according to the report.
He was arrested for operating while intoxicated. The man was also ticketed for having open containers in the car including a bottle of bourbon whiskey and a bottle of vodka. Police also found several purses in the car.
After inputting the man's vehicle information into the police database, the police department received a call from Plymouth Township police. The car had apparently been reported stolen from the Compuware Arena. The owner of the car apparently knew the man and did not press charges.
He was ultimately released on a $300 bond.
Woman pulled over after driving too slowly allegedly found with marijuana
A 25-year-old Albion woman and her passenger were arrested after they were found with marijuana and paraphernalia after a traffic stop.
The woman, according to police reports, was driving 25 mph on Beck Road near Six Mile Road, which caused traffic to build up behind her. The officer following her on March 7 at 1:21 a.m. pulled her over, discovered she was driving with a suspended license and she was arrested.
Her passenger, an Albion man, at first, according to police reports, gave the officer a false name. Ultimately, he gave his real name. He had a warrant out of Eastpointe and was ticketed by Northville police for obstruction for allegedly giving police a false name.
According to the report: The officer also detected the smell of marijuana coming from him. During booking at the station, as he undressed, a small amount of marijuana fell from the man's sleeve.
Driver arrested for alleged possession of marijuana
On March 7, police pulled over a vehicle on Haggerty and Cross roads whose driver was allegedly carrying marijuana.
Upon searching the car, according to police reports, the 30-year-old Northville man was reportedly found with a metal pipe and marijuana in a jar. He was arrested and ticketed for possession of marijuana and narcotic paraphernalia.
