A summary of police reports from March 6-12.

Money, gift cards stolen from vehicle

Sometime overnight on March 6, a 2004 Silver Ford Escape was broken into on the 17000 block of Dunswood Drive in Northville Township. According to police reports, money and gift cards were taken from the vehicle.

Tires, rims taken from vehicle

On the night of March 9, four tires and rims were taken off a 2009 Chevrolet Tahoe in the 17000 block of Maple Hill Drive in Northville Township. According to police reports, the victim came out of his home in the morning and found his vehicle sitting up on landscaping blocks.

Man arrested for retail fraud

According to police reports, a man was arrested for retail fraud at the Meijer store on Haggerty Road on March 12. He was first spotted by Meijer security personnel before being taken into custody by Northville Township police.

Two larcenies in Hampton Inn parking lot

According to police reports, a man driving a black Chevrolet Malibu was spotted leaving the scene of two different larcenies in the parking lot of the Hampton Inn on March 10 and 12. 

On March 10, the man was spotted pulling out onto Haggerty Road, north of Eight Mile Road. In that incident, a Garmin Nuvi GPS was taken from a 1998 Toyota Tacoma.

On March 12, a man was spotted hopping a fence to get into the parking lot of the Hampton Inn and was later seen leaning in the broken window of a Nissan Altima. He was later spotted leaving the scene in a black Malibu. According to police reports, a Cobra radar detector was missing from the Altima.
