Man charged for allegedly harassing UPS store employee by phone
A 42-year-old Northville Township man was cited by city of Northville police on allegations that he harassed a employee via phone.
The man was banned from the store after “disorderly” behavior. According to the report, the man began making threatening calls to an employee, one of which was a death threat.The employee was able to recognize his voice and, in some instances, the man identified himself.
It appeared, according to the report, that the man may have had mental health issues. He was issued the citation on July 14.

Vandalism reported at Pendleton store
A window was reported broken at the on July 9 at around 5 p.m., according to city police reports.
It appeared that someone used a piece of sidewalk concrete to break the window, according to the report. The responding officer helped remove the glass and called the Department of Public Works to help clear glass from the sidewalk area.

Man arrested after running red light on unrelated charges
A 23-year-old Novi man was driving around 2 a.m. near Main and Center streets when police said he ran a red light. According to the report, an officer also said that he could detect a strong odor of alcohol on him. The man completed some sobriety tests successfully but had a BAC above the legal limit of .08.
He was arrested on charges of operating under the influence of alcohol. It was his second offense, according to the report.
