Celebrities Against Autism has a gala event planned on April 28, “Autism Heroes: Celebrating Those Who Make A Difference." The event will be held at the Northville Historic House.
Several people will be honored:
- Dr. Temple Grandin, noted autistic author, speaker and cited autism expert
- Gary Cole, Desperate Housewives and Office Space actor
- Holly Robinson Peete, singer and actress
- Former Detroit Red Wings player Ted Lindsay
The gala will include a VIP cocktail reception (beginning at 6 p.m.), silent and live auction, strolling appetizers, and awards. Proceeds from the gala will be donated to the non-profit, Celebrities Against Autism.
