A woman on probation for drunken driving passed a random Breathalyzer test even though she'd been drinking, then bragged about it on Facebook. Can you guess what happened next?
A social media post got a woman on probation for drunken driving and considered at high risk to reoffend into more trouble with the Wayne County authorities.
The woman was among more than 200 probationers who were asked to report to Westland District Court over St. Patrick’s Day weekend and take Breathalyzer tests. She passed the test, The Observer & Eccentric reports, then posted a status update bragging about it on her Facebook page:
“Buzz killer for me,” she wrote. “I had to breatalyze (sic) this morning and I drank yesterday but I passed thank god lol my dumba**.”

She didn’t show up, and now she has an April date to appear in court to explain why.
“She actually passed and got away with it,” Probation Officer Eric Lange told the newspaper. “Hopefully, this will send a message to others.”
Judge Mark McConnell said the court has developed the spot-check program as “an incentive for our probationers to stay away from alcohol.”
“This is a perfect example that reflects how the law enforcement community is always watching," the judge said.
