FALL WORKSHOP OFFERS HOPE FOR GRIEVING ADULTS

New Hope Center for Grief Support in Northville is presenting an eight-week grief workshop this fall entitled “From Grief to New Hope,” sponsored by and held at Ward Presbyterian Church in Northville. The sessions will run on consecutive Mondays from September 9 through October 28, 2013 from 7-8:45 p.m.

The workshop, which is offered at no cost to participants and is open to anyone grieving after the death of a loved one, will be presented by New Hope’s speaker team led by Executive Director Karen Laing. Each session will begin with an informational presentation about one aspect of grief followed by small group participation guided by trained facilitators. Attendees will be placed in groups with others who have had similar losses.
