Livonia Police Investigating Reported Racially Motivated Attack of 6-Year-Old

Livonia police are investigating the reported racially motivated attack of a 6-year-old girl on Sunday afternoon outside of the AMC 20 in Livonia on Haggerty and Seven Mile roads, according to a report by WJBK-TV Fox 2.

The girl, who is black, had just seen the movie Smurfs with her parents and was walking back to their car outside. That's when they said that men in a red pick-up truck threw a drink in her face, the station reports.

The men drove off, making monkey noises and shouting racial slurs, according to Fox 2.
