Main Street League's 2nd Annual Diaper Drive

The members, friends and supporters of Main Street League gathered at Genetti's Hole in the Wall last night for the 2nd annual Ladies Night Out and Diaper Drive.  This marks the one year anniversary of Main Street League's formation.

Much like last year, the ladies of Northville showed up with boxes, boxes, and more boxes of diapers to support Northville Civic Concern.  And, much like last year, the conversation and food were enjoyed by all!

Co-Founder and Main Street League Chair Lauren Romeo gave a brief address to thank the crowd for coming out and also read a touching thank you letter from a woman who was personally helped by Main Street League.  The heartwarming letter was sincere, genuine, and a real reminder of the importance of community support. Romeo gave a summary of the past years' success including the back pack drive and pie drive to support Northville Civic Concern, as well as support to First Step Women's Shelter. Romeo included a shout out to Meijer corporation for their ongoing support of Northville Civic Concern. Remember to keep your eye out around the checkouts for Meijer's Simply Give program, a nearly effortless way to contribute to Northville Civic Concern throughout the year.

Several new members joined Main Street League last night which means more good things are coming this spring! Stay tuned for details about the upcoming Kickball tournament; it is sure to be another rip roaring good time for the whole family as well as a big generator of funds for Main Street League!
