Meads Mill Science Olympiad 4th Team Award in 2014 National Tournament

Meads Mill Science Olympiad Continue its strength in national tournament and received 4th place team award.

2014 National Science Olympiad Tournament was held in University of Central Florida on 5/17/2014: www.scienceolympiad2014.com

More than 2500 students from top Middle Schools and High schools nationwide competed in the tournament.

Meads Mill national team is formed by 17 students: Angela, Austin, Bhavyashree, Catherina, Disha, Himansu, Krithik, Nicholas, Rohan, Saaz, Sahil, Sai, Sanjana, Sohan, Srikar, Tanai, Timothy, to compete on  23 official events or subjects in engineering and technology, chemistry, earth science, biology: Anatomy,  Boomilever,  Can’t Judge a Powder,  Crime Busters,  Disease Detective,  Dynamic Planet,  Entomology,  Experimental Design,  Helicopters,  Heredity,  Meteorology,  Metric Mastery,  Road Scholar,  Robo-Cross,  Rocks & Minerals,  Rotor Egg Drop,  Shock Value,  Simple Machines,  Solar System,  Sounds of Music,  Water Quality,  Wheeled Vehicle,  Write It Do It, and trial events: Air Trajectory and Bridge. This is the 3rd year Meads Mill Science Olympiad team won Michigan State Championship, and represent Michigan State to compete at national tournament with top placed team awards: 7th place in 2012, 4th place in 2013 and 4th place in 2014.
