Night of Bowling Ends In An Accident

Driver lost control of the vehicle because of an asthma attack.

A car flipped on its side last night on Novi Road near after the driver suffered an asthma attack that caused him to lose control of the vehicle.

The driver and his two passengers were turning left out of Novi Bowl Saturday around 10:30 p.m. They got about a quarter of a mile down the road when the driver suffered an asthma attack, said Northville Fire Chief James Allen. The vehicle flipped off the road onto its side.

Allen said that the driver was evaluated by paramedics and would be transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The other two passengers are believed to have sustained no injuries but were also evaluated by paramedics.

Novi Road across from Gurnsey farms was down to one lane traffic while the accident was cleared.
