CHELSEA — The hockey team scored a late goal and was able to hang on for a 1-0 win over Pinckney in the first-ever Michigan Public High School Hockey Showcase Saturday.
Senior captain Robbie Thornburg scored with six minutes left. He was assisted on the goal by Jacob Strom.
Mustangs goalie Sean Bretz was credited with the shutout.
