Northville Independence Day Parade- July 4th at 10:00AM!

WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE…

Herbie the Love Bug, pirates, the Tooth Fairy, the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile, PAWS, bands, floats, and so much more?  How about not one but TWO flyovers?  Make sure you reserve your spot in Downtown Northville, Thursday, July 4 at 10:00AM when the Northville Community Foundation will present the Independence Day Parade sponsored by St. Mary Mercy Hospital.  Watch the sky around 10:10 and again at 10:30 for those two flyovers!

Back by popular demand will be the “Pet Parade”!  Enter your pet, be it your dog, cat, or goldfish-- we would love to see you in the Parade!

Kids – don’t forget to enter your decorated bikes in the “Bike Parade” .  Bring your decorated bike to the northwest parking lot at Center Street and 7 Mile.  Judging will take place at 9:30a.m. Meijer will be awarding a gift certificate to the best decorated ‘boys’ and ‘girls’ bike.

As Floats are receiving their last minute touch-ups, cars are being polished to the max, bands are in last minute practices, and clowns are making sure their red noses are just a little bit redder; everything is ready to go for Parade day!

The parade will begin at Griswold & Main and the route will go Griswold to Main; Main to Rogers; Rogers to Cady; Cady to Wing; Wing to Fairbrook.

The Parade begins at 10a.m. on Thursday, July 4, with the singing of the National Anthem by the Ward Presbyterian Church Choir in front of City Hall.

If you would like to help the day of the Parade, there is always a need for another helping hand. Please contact the Foundation office at (248)374-0200.
