Keith Gall, the center’s owner, told HometownLife that using classrooms at Northville Methodist Church or Livonia’s Ladywood High School might be a stop-gap solution for its 65 students, and he hopes to secure a temporary site by the end of the week.

A GoFundMe page has been set up for people to donate to the center, which was founded in 1976 and moved to its present site at 15709 Haggerty Road in 1982. The page already has raised more than $19,000 as of Wednesday afternoon.
