REMEMBER WHEN Honors the Music and Spirit of The Greatest Generation

Musical Review features songs from the 1940's and salute to veterans

Paul’s Players will present Remember When, an original musical review featuring music from the 1940’s, on February 19 and 20, 2016 at 7:30 p.m.; and February 21, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. All performances are at St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, 27475 Five Mile Road, Livonia. Remember When is a musical review set during the period of World War II. The production features songs from that era, coordinated with heartfelt, emotional letters between service men and women and their families back home. “These letters reflect so many of the same emotions and feelings of today’s military personnel and their families,” says Patricia Hutchison, Director of the show, and founder of Paul’s Players. “The show reminds us that the love of family and home are timeless emotions.” Featured songs include Chattanooga Choo Choo, I’ll Be Seeing You, Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy, Don’t Sit Under the Apple Tree, and many other favorites from the era. A musical salute to the armed forces is also included.

ABOUT PAUL’S PLAYERS

Paul’s Players is a community theater group based in Livonia, Michigan, and housed in St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, 27475 Five Mile Road. The group was founded in 2011 by Patricia Hutchison, a retired Livonia Public School music and drama teacher.
