Road Closures Announced for Saturday's Jingle Bell Run/Walk

On Saturday, Northville will be home to the Jingle Bell Run/Walk for Arthritis. For the event, several roads in the city will be closed from 9-11 a.m.

"These road closures will occur just before the first runner enters onto each road and will remain closed until the last runner is off the road," according to a Northville city police department email alert.

Road closures, according to the email, will include:

• East Cady Street
• Griswold Road south of Cady Street 
• Beal Street 
• Southbound S. Main Street, south of Doheny Road 
• Southbound Northville Road, south of Seven Mile Road to the road at Cass Benton Park 
• The road at Cass Benton Park between Northville Road and Edward Hines Drive 
• Edward Hines bike path from Cass Benton Road north to Seven Mile Road 
• Eastbound Seven Mile Road between Edward Hines Drive and S. Main Street
• River Street
