Severe Thunderstorm Watch in Effect for Wayne, Oakland Counties
The watch is in effect until midnight.

The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for Oakland and Wayne counties effective until midnight.
The storm is capable of producing wind gusts up to 70 mph, as it moves in from western Michigan. Hail, one inch in diameter, is also possible. Torrential rainfall and localized flooding may also occur.
It is expected to reach Plymouth and Northville around 8:05 p.m.
