Snow Could Limit Visibility in Northville Area

Wayne and Oakland Counties are expected to get 1-3 inches tonight.

You're not imagining it – that's snow falling in Northville, and we may get more of it. 

The National Weather Service issued a special weather statement this afternoon, predicting an area of "moderate snow" will move across southeast Michigan starting around 6 p.m. Snowfall may limit visibilities to around a half-mile at times this evening, but is expected to die down after midnight. 

Affected counties include: Wayne, Oakland, Washtenaw, Livingston, St. Clair, Macomb, Lenawee and Monrow.

The NWS anticipates accumulations of 1-3 inches, and warns a cold front will drop the mercury to around 14 degrees tonight.
