One of the more exciting events at Mill Race Village during the Victorian Festival is the annual Duck Race. Tickets can be purchased, beginning at 12:00pm, with the chance to win a prize with a fast swimming plastic duck. After a traditional parade of the duck participants, the race begins at 3:30pm in the swift currents of the Rouge River upstream from the Ford Field Bridge. This is a fun, exciting activity for adults and children alike.
