Amerman Elementary Students Do It Again

Northville elementary school continues its winning record at the Macomb County Science Olympiad.

Amerman Elementary School again came out on top in a 46-team field competing in the Macomb County Science Olympiad held May 3 at Macomb Community College.

Sixteen students represented Amerman at the tournament. Amerman won five first-place spots in the 16 events, and won medals in all but two events, which give them the overall championship for the K-5 elementary competition.

The school also won this tournament last year, and several years before that as well.  Heather Loftus was the head coach of the all-volunteer parent coaching team.
