Village Workshop Sets Grand Opening for This Weekend
Residents can check out the center during an open house Saturday.
A new Northville community resource for residents with a creative itch to scratch will mark its grand opening this weekend.
The Village Workshop, 455 E. Cady St., will open its doors with an open house at 9 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 28, according to its website. A ribbon-cutting will be held at 2 p.m., and a reception party will run from 7 to 9 p.m. The workshop will hold open enrollment for members from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, March 1.
On its website, the center, which includes a wood, metal and machine shops, as well as other tools and equipment, is described the following way on its website: “The Village Workshop is a community space dedicated to creativity, learning, entrepreneurship, and prototype services.
