Woodside to Challenge Banner in Northville Township Treasurer Race
The official list of candidates for the August 7 election was released, indicating Woodside would run for treasurer.

Karen Woodside, a candidate for the Northville Township Board of Trustees, declared Friday that she would be running for the office of treasurer.
The deadline to file was May 15. Woodside initially filed for all four seats – supervisor, clerk, treasurer and trustee – and had to choose one by Friday.
Woodside will now run for treasurer against current trustee Marjorie Banner in the August 7 primary. Both are Republicans and there is no Democrat to challenge in the November election. The two are vying to fill the seat now held by treasurer Richard Henningsen.
