NOVI, MI — Raising Cane's is planning to open its third metro Detroit restaurant next month.
The popular fast-food chicken restaurant will open its newest location at 26245 Novi Road in Novi on Aug. 3.
There will be an opening day party with giveaways and other community events. Customers who arrive early enough can get a chance to win free Cane's for a year.
"We're excited to continue growing our presence in Michigan, and Novi is the perfect place for our newest restaurant," Raising Cane's Detroit area leader of restaurants Jessica Baranski said in a press release. "The community has welcomed us with open arms, and we've seen tremendous enthusiasm for our 'one love.' We look forward to creating new jobs, serving great food and sharing our unique Cane's Culture with Novi and communities across Michigan."
Raising Cane's is best known for their chicken fingers, fries, coleslaw and "Cane's sauce."
The chain was founded 30 years ago and headquartered in Louisiana. It is named after founder Todd Graves' yellow Labrador.
Raising Cane's opened its first metro Detroit spot in Canton last year. There are also restaurant in Ann Arbor and in East Lansing, across Grand River from Michigan State University.
