'Around the House with Matt and Shari' Hosts

The stars of the inaugural HGTV show “Room by Room” and current PBS series “Around the House with Matt and Shari” – Matt Fox and Shari Hiller – are coming the Novi Home Improvement Show Jan. 23-25.

The dynamic decorating duo will bring their “Top 20 Decorating Essentials” presentation covering items necessary to successfully complete a decorating project—like an inspiration piece, a color story for your home, and, according to Matt Fox, the ever important 5-in-1 painting tool.

The team, who has been showcasing home decorating trends on air since 1993, will give their Top 20 presentation twice daily during the Novi Home Improvement Show.

“Matt and I are so excited to be meeting together at the Novi Home Improvement Show to catch up with fans from the past and to hopefully make some new ones,” said Hiller.

Appearance times for the PBS stars of “Around the House with Matt and Shari” are scheduled for Friday, Jan. 23. at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.; Saturday, Jan. 24, at 12:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. and Sunday, Jan.y 25, at t Noon and 2:30 p.m. Hiller and Fox will be available for autographs after their presentation.

After being inspired by the pair, expect to find everything necessary to complete any decorating or home improvement project—small or large—at the Novi Home Improvement Show.

“America’s Master Handyman” Glenn Haege of WJR-AM and the Inside Outside Guys of WMUZ-FM will also be making special live broadcasts during the January event.

The Novi Home Improvement Show will be held at the Suburban Collection Showplace, on Grand River, south of I-96 between Novi Road and Beck Road. Show hours are Friday 2-9 p.m., Saturday 11 a.m.-9 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m.-5 p.m.

Adult admission (ages 13 and up) is $10; seniors (ages 55 and over) is $9; and children ages 12 and under are admitted free!
