CycleBar Northville Hires Manager and Lead CycleStar Instructor

Katie Connor brings 10 years of indoor cycling experience

In this role, Connor will organize, prepare and teach indoor cycling classes daily, as well as serve as a team leader among other CycleStar® Instructors. Additionally, she will represent CycleBar Northville at pop-up events and future opportunities to showcase the studio.

“Katie brings 10 years of cycling experience to our studio and is the ideal candidate to serve as the manager and perform as a CycleStar® Instructor,” said Wayne. “She brings the incomparable energy, enthusiasm, charisma and leadership that we look for when hiring for instructors. I am excited to bring her on as a team leader, and am confident her classes will help participants reach their goals and change lives one ride at a time.”

“CycleBar is truly an amazing company,” said Connor. “I began working with them over a year ago and fell in love with the brand. Prior to joining CycleBar Northville, Connor worked with Teach for America educating children in Detroit. Previous to that, she was a manager at LifeStart Wellness Network in Chicago in the Civic Opera House where she was recognized as manager of the year. Connor received her master’s degree in education from Oakland University in 2015 and earned her bachelor’s degree in public relations and theater arts from Eastern Michigan University in 2008.

In her spare time, she plans to continue volunteering at schools in Detroit, spending time at local parks with her Siberian Husky, and hanging out with friends and family.
