Daytime exercise classes starting at TRACC in Novi

Core Strengthening and Aerobic Conditioning, Circuit Training and Aerobic Conditioning, Resistance Band Strengthening, Seated Sweet and Low

Starting the weeks of August 3 and August 31, the Botsford Total Rehabilitation and Athletic Conditioning Center (TRACC) in Novi will start daytime exercise classes. Classes included will be:

Core Strengthening and Aerobic Conditioning: sessions include training with therapeutic exercise balls, medicine balls, resistance bands and other equipment. Select Mondays and Wednesdays or Tuesdays and Thursdays, noon to 1 p.m.

Circuit Training and Aerobic Conditioning: sessions include circuit training on rower, lat pull down, leg press, hamstring curl, leg extension and other equipment. Select Mondays and Wednesdays or Tuesdays and Thursdays, 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Resistance Band Strengthening: sessions include upper and lower body strengthening using resistance bands. Select Mondays and Wednesdays or Tuesdays and Thursdays, 1 to 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 to 3 p.m.

Classes above are $50 for 8 sessions and require pre-registration, which closes one week prior to the start of classes.

Seated Sweet and Low Tai Chi: sessions are done in a seated position in a chair and are designed to teach ancient techniques for balancing energy throughout the body. Wednesdays, 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. These tai chi classes are $10 for drop in and $90 for a 10-visit punch card. For adults 18 and older. Try your first class for FREE.
