Owner and Executive Chef, Mary Brady, has done something right at Diamond Jim Brady’s Bistro in Novi. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly, and every table was full of happy patrons (including the bar) on a cold March Monday evening. From the light & fluffy rolls they started us with that were covered in butter to the delicious sauces paired with our meals, we were pleased with every bite.
43271 Crescent Blvd. Novi, MI 48375. Crescent Blvd. is located off Novi Road in Novi Town Center. They are open Monday through Thursday for lunch from 11am-4pm and dinner from 4pm-11pm, Friday and Saturday 11am-4pm and dinner 4pm-12am, and Sunday brunch 11am-4pm and dinner 4pm-9pm. They also have a Happy Hour, Monday through Thursday 3pm-6pm.
Their dinner menu has a variety of creatively prepared options including many for vegetarians. The prices vary as well, but are reasonable when taking into account the quality of the food. They also have daily specials which always included a vegetarian option. We started with a soup that was on the special menu, Lobster Bisque, which was $5 and incredible. My hubby got the 16 oz. Porterhouse Steak with cheddar mashed potatoes (instead of a baked potato) topped with balsamic onion & mushroom, and B-54 sauce with a Caesar salad for $27. I, of course, got the grilled cheese with smoked gouda, gruyere, cheddar, and spiced apple on multi-grain bread with French fries for $9. We were too full for dessert, but it was difficult to pass up knowing it would be delicious. Browse all the menus.

Diamond Jim Brady’s Bistro is cozy with a modern, jazzy feel. There isn’t a huge dining room, instead there are tables and booths scattered around the bar and more in an area that is covered with glass. The stylish décor and black and white checkered floors give it such rich character and the dim lighting makes you feel comfortable. We were so pleased with the service. Our waitress, who was also running the bar, was knowledgeable and so sweet. The owner, Mary Brady, was present in the restaurant, delivering food to our table, checking in on us, and giving off the vibe that she loves what she does. Bottom line, you will leave here happy and want to come back. Be sure to check out their website.
