District Asks Novi Parents to Weigh in on Proposed New Courses

Novi School Board members are expected to take up a discussion Thursday about adding three new International Baccalaureate courses, and officials want to know what parents think about them. 

During a March 7 work session, officials reviewed the proposal to add Music SL, Sports, Exercise and Health SL and Psychology HL to the more rigorous Novi Community Schools curriculum. Parents and guardians of students in grades 7-11 are invited to weigh in on the proposal in a survey posted on the district's website. 

The district has posted course descriptions, frequently asked questions and more information on the survey web page.
