FOREIGN ACCENT REDUCTION FOR INDIVIDUALS USING ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE

This class is for individuals wishing to reduce the accent from their speech. Included will be a brief analysis of each student’s speech, an overview of the English sound system with emphasis on some specific sounds, and an awareness of the effect that rhythm, phrasing and voice projection have on the English language. A $10 material fee is payable to instructor on first day of class.
