The Michigan Competing Band Association holds its championship contests at Ford Field all day long Saturday, Nov. 5. Several area marching bands are competing. Four Flights are planned -- I at 8:15 a.m., II at noon, III at 3:45 p.m., and IV at 7:30 p.m. Each Flight has 12 bands.

Tickets, $16 for adults, and $12 for students and seniors. Children under 5 get in free. Tickets available the day of, at Ford Field. Cash only. Ticket booth opens at 7 a.m. Parking at Ford Field, $6.
