The Metro Detroit Pet Expo makes its way to the Suburban Collection Showplace this weekend.
If you love pets, you'll love this, with shows, competitions, and more than 100 booths for pampering and shopping, too. More than 25 rescue groups will be in attendance, so if you're looking to adopt a fur baby, this is a good place to get started. Or, if you already have a pet, you're invited to bring yours, but be sure you have it licensed and up to date on vaccinations (and bring proof). No birds, please.

- Friday, Nov. 18, 4-8 p.m.
- Saturday, Nov. 19, 10 a.m.-8 p.m.
- Sunday, Nov. 20, 11 a.m.-5 p.m.
Admission is $10 adults, $5 children 6-12, free for ges 5 and younger. Bring a bag of pet food as a donation and receive $2 off admission; food will be used for area animal welfare groups. Parking is $5 per vehicle.
