This event is for the birds. Literally.
Kensington Metropark is holding a New Year's Bird Count. Preregistration is required, and participants can bring binoculars and dress for the weather to help take a census of the park's feathered friends. Experienced leaders will guide teams to parts of the park. Beginners are welcome as well.
Event is free with vehicle entry permit.
