Opening Minds: Growing Old Gracefully

This free program, co-sponsored by the Oakland County Community Mental Health Authority (OCCMHA) and the Novi Public Library, offers a unique opportunity for older adults and their caregivers to learn about new aging and scientific advancements that are contributing to the longevity revolution. Participants will be encouraged to reevaluate preconceived opinions about ageism, and also address fears about the uncertain future. With Dr. Rosen’s guidance, people who attend the open forum will discover new strategies to help them value the treasured memories, heartfelt emotions, and cherished events that encompass the depth and rich layers of their lives.
