Exquisite Stained Glass Art Now on Public Display at Fox Run

Fred Wiegand's "Blue Heron at Sunrise" consists of 194 Individually Cut and Shaped Pieces

NOVI, MI -- Fred Wiegand’s “Blue Heron at Sunrise,” a stained glass panel consisting of 194 individually cut and shaped pieces to fit precisely in a self- developed pattern, is now on public display at Fox Run retirement community.

“Blue Heron at Sunrise” makes use of 15 different colored and textured glass. Wiegand created it in a five-week period (104 hours) in Fox Run’s Hobby Shop.
