Fox Run's Preferred Real Estate Agents Can Help You Get Started
Fox Run preferred real estate agents Maria Gardner and Susan Flynn help prospective residents sell their houses with ease

Joining the Priority List at Fox Run, an Erickson Senior Living community in Novi, Mich., comes with an array of benefits, including first choice of available homes and invitations to exclusive informational events.
But many members would argue that having access to the Erickson Realty and Moving Services program is the greatest advantage. The program's preferred real estate agents have helped hundreds of retirees move to the community stress-free!
Susan Flynn and Maria Gardner, who work at Real Estate One, are just two of these experienced preferred real estate agents.

"There's no need to wait until the spring to sell," says Flynn. "There are always people who have to move and buy a house."
Gardner agrees, saying, "We've had plenty of listings close on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve--especially on New Year's Eve because everybody wants the sale to go through before the next year."

Experience matters
Both Flynn and Gardner boast years of experience in the real estate industry and are experts in the local housing market. And, as Fox Run preferred real estate agents for nearly a decade, they understand the unique, exciting process of moving to the community.
Based on their knowledge and thorough market analyses, Flynn and Gardner put together sale prices that help prospective residents make top dollar for their homes.
"We look at comparable sales in the neighborhood or area. If they're not going to sell right away, we also give them an idea of what it could be worth around their planned moving timeline," says Flynn.
The dynamic duo can also make recommendations on what--if anything--should be fixed, replaced, or renovated before listing to get the best price.
"Oftentimes, in this market, nothing major needs to be done. Little repairs and a fresh coat of paint go a long way," says Flynn.
"However, if they need it, we'll provide a list of companies we recommend," says Gardner. "Everything from electricians and contractors to housecleaners, painters, roofers, and more."
'Never too early'
Flynn and Gardner always encourage Priority List members to reach out sooner rather than later.
"It's never too early!" says Gardner. "We've entered into agreements with people a year in advance of their move. This is helpful because we're able to obtain all the pertinent information we need at a relaxed pace--meaning less stress for everyone."
She continues, "Once a residence at Fox Run becomes available or they're ready to move, we can list their house with just a few keystrokes."
Gardner recalls an instance where working with a prospective resident early really paid off.
"When I visited them at their house, the weather was nice. We took listing photos then because, based on their timeline, their house would sell with snow outside," she explains. "We then worked on the listing and got everything approved. When they were ready to move, we got their listing up in no time."
Going the extra mile
Because they work together to support incoming residents, Flynn and Gardner are always available to answer questions and offer valuable insights.
"We copy each other on all the emails and texts involved," says Flynn. "That way, not only do we both know what's happening from start to finish, but if one of us is out of the office, the other can reach out and respond."
Gardner adds, "This gives prospective residents a feeling of comfort; they know we've got their back. We're comprehensive, we anticipate, and we go that extra mile!"
Other preferred vendors associated with the Erickson Realty and Moving Services program, including downsizing experts, movers, and estate sale companies, go the extra mile too.
"Our preferred vendors have impressive reputations and are vetted for quality customer service," says Allison Murphy, sales director at Fox Run. "Several current residents have raved about their experiences with our vendors. Moving companies have transported and unpacked everything in just one day."
Don't wait!
Whether you're looking to sell your house next month or next year, now is the time to start planning ahead.
"Our preferred real estate agents and vendors are wonderful resources, and only Priority List members have access to them," explains Murphy. "Plus, when you join, you'll be able to save your spot in line for a residence. This is a huge advantage if you already have a floor plan in mind."
